This this the first rally of the 2011 championship at three sisters race track wigan.

We arrived at 6:30 and were due for scruitineering from 7:00 to 7:30.The first stage was a nervous one as it was raining and was the first proper time using the new pirreli tyres, but after the first stage we got into a rythum and were able to push the tyres to there limit during the day as the stages started to dry out. at halfway we were 6th overall and 5th was just a couple of seconds away but as we lined up for ss6 i started to know the brakes were not the best they had been all day. so once back into service we found out we had a leaking caliper which was leaking brake fluid onto the tyres which could of been dangerous if we had not found the problem.But after this we hit the stages but could not find the last few seconds but had a great day with my best finish 6th
